Clumber Livery is located at the edge of the National Trust site of Clumber Park, which boasts over 3800 acres of land in which to ride. The park comprises of woods, grassland, heath land, streams and lakes.
The Lime Tree avenue that leads into the park extends three miles and is the longest double avenue in Europe.
The park is open all year round during daylight. Clumber park is ideally explored from the saddle. Passes are available from the National Trust Office for a small annual charge.
About Clumber Livery
Clumber Livery Offers a new wooden, purpose built block of 24 stables, featuring a mix of 12x12 14x12 and 18x12 light and airy boxes all with rubber matting.
Set in 100 acres of private land which features its own post and rail paddocks to the front and further paddocks to the side of the property. Each stable is well lit as is the yard and parking area. The yard and surrounding areas are quiet and peaceful enabling horses to relax. There is direct

access of the land into woodlands and from there into Clumber Park. Next to the stables is a floodlit 40' x 40' rubber and silica sand menage, which is maintained to a high standard. In addition there is a separate fence and rail area,which holds a range of professional jumps to practice on grass for those forthcoming events.
Our Grooms and Yard manager are experienced horse owners themselves and qualified to look after your horse. We have competent riders that can help you with your exercising if required.
The land grows its own hay and haylage for use on site. Around the many fields land has been set aside to encourage those wishing to canter in safety.
We believe we can offer a quality tailor made service to your own requirements, where your horse is treated is if it were our own. We welcome visits on site.
